Everything you need to know about Bookki
How does Bookki work?
Bookki works through a Chrome extension that syncs your bookmarks to our secure cloud. Once installed, you can organize bookmarks into collections, share them with team members, and access them from any device. Changes sync in real-time across all team members.
Is my data secure?
Absolutely. We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data both in transit and at rest. We never share your data with third parties, and you have complete control over who can access your bookmarks within your team.
Can I use Bookki on multiple browsers?
Currently, Bookki is available as a Chrome extension. We're actively working on extensions for Firefox, Safari, and Edge, which will be available soon. All your bookmarks are also accessible through our web app from any browser.
How do I share bookmarks with my team?
Sharing is simple! You can create collections that are automatically shared with your team, or you can share individual bookmarks with specific team members. Just right-click on a bookmark or collection and select "Share" to get started.
Can I import my existing bookmarks?
Yes! Bookki makes it easy to import your existing Chrome bookmarks. During setup, you'll be prompted to select which bookmarks or folders you want to import. You can also import bookmarks from HTML files exported from other browsers.
What happens if I exceed my plan's limits?
If you approach your plan's limits, we'll notify you so you can decide whether to upgrade or manage your existing bookmarks. You won't lose any data if you exceed your limits, but you won't be able to add new bookmarks until you either upgrade or remove some existing ones.
